Here we are at the start of another cycle. I guess thanks to the donor not being available the first month, and my body deciding not to ovulate last month, this will hopefully be cycle one of actually trying. I’m hoping to get a +opk! get a donation on time and then have a two week wait that hopefully ends in a positive pregnancy test! But if it doesn’t, at least it will have been a normal cycle!
After last month’s no ovulation fiasco, I have ditched the soy isoflavones, they work wonderfully for some ladies, but they obviously do absolutely nothing for me and in fact are counterproductive, so we shall be leaving those well alone. I am continuing with my normal vitamin regime – 3x Red Raspberry leaf capsules, 3x Vitamin D and calcium tablets, 1x. Omega 3, 1x prenatal and 1x b100 complex. This combination someday to have a good effect on the month of no donation, with my temps looking lovely and steady throughout, so fingers crossed for more of the same this cycle.
So, what’s the plan? Nothing different. We will get one artificial insemination donation on the day of my positive OPK. Then if no ovulation for a few days we will get another, but usually I ovulate around 48 hours after a positive ovulation test, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Particularly when I am just about getting over depression, so sometimes finding a thing to smile about is incredibly hard to do. I’m off work for a couple of weeks at the moment, using up some annual leave. So far we’ve been to the seaside to see Amy’s grandmother, had a lovely afternoon at Amy’s mum’s house for Mother’s Day and had a day out shopping with our friends and their daughters. We’ve also booked our New York holiday for October and booked a holiday to Disneyland Paris in March next year with our friends and their kids.
